PROJECT OVERVIEW
The Sydney Gateway project, a key part of the NSW Government's vision for an integrated transport network, provides new toll-free connections to Sydney Airport and Port Botany. Delivered by the John Holland/Seymour Whyte Joint Venture, this project is designed to improve traffic flow, divert around 10,000 trucks daily from local streets in Mascot, and support the growth of Sydney's economy.
SCOPE OF WORKS
Carrabay is contracted to construct retaining walls, drainage channels, and concrete barriers. Our scope also includes the supply of all reinforcement.
All works are executed alongside ongoing earthwork and bridge construction, requiring detailed daily planning and coordination to ensure a safe site. We use a combination of panel and conventional formwork systems for efficient construction within confined spaces. All temporary works and permit-to-load procedures adhere strictly to company standards, designer specifications, and Australian Standards.
The client has praised Carrabay for being proactive, maintaining a high level of safety, and providing critical assistance with planning during the project's early stages.
