The project includes two 7.5-kilometer twin tunnels, each with up to four lanes of traffic. The project also features advanced tunnel ventilation, drainage infrastructure, and comprehensive emergency access and life safety systems.
SCOPE OF WORKS
Carrabay was contracted to execute the Form, Reinforcement, and Concrete (FRP) works for the new permanent Water Treatment Plant at the St Peters Interchange (SPI) site. Our scope included supplying, installing, and managing all reinforcement for the plant. We also provided procurement, cutting, bending, and pre-fabrication solutions for various other structures on the SPI site, such as capping beams, columns, and ground beams.
Specific Deliverables:
- Water Treatment Plant: We managed the supply and installation of all reinforcement, including scheduling and 3D modeling. Our team handled all temporary works for the shuttering system and performed the concrete pours. All finished concrete was completed and cured to project specifications.
- Additional Structures: We provided reinforcement pre-fabrication and installation for building structures, retaining walls, and the ventilation building.
Throughout the project, Carrabay's delivery team and FRP crews collaborated closely with the client and other subcontractors, managing logistics and shared resources to ensure a successful, on-time delivery. We were highly praised for our strong safety culture and commitment to quality, which resulted in a defect-free project that met all client expectations.
