PROJECT OVERVIEW

The project is located within the existing building of the NSW Department of Education Building. The building consists of the design and construction of a new 6 Star Hotel over a 21,000m² floor area including refurbishment of existing internal areas, tunnelling underneath Loftus street to create a new building link, construction of new building elements on top of the existing buildings and the upgrade of external areas including Farrer Place.

CARRABAY SCOPE

Carrabay are contracted to carry out the Form, Reinforcement and Pour (FRP) including the supply of reinforcement to the external hard landscaping areas in and around Farrer Place within the City of Sydney CBD.

These works are being carried out in a heritage sensitive are of which forms part of the detailed planning and staging of the works so the area is not affected by the construction works.

Detailed logistics, traffic management and on site storage are managed on a day to day basis with the client of which has commended Carrabay on the professional way the works have been delivered to date.
